The Challenge:
Bring talented photojournalist's vision to life; Integrating photos, handlettering and historical images.
We carefully silhouetted the twirling dancers, with ruffles, fringe and flying hair. The yellow stucco was shot once and became the background for several pages. The cover incorporated three different photos plus hand-lettering. Olé Flamenco earned a Pura Belpré honor award.
